Local author releases a guide to fun on Mt. Shasta

Robin Kohn started making maps and descriptions of outdoor activities and tours in Siskiyou County in 1995. Thirteen years later, the book "Mount Shasta Guide to Fun" has hit the shelves at stores in Shasta and Siskiyou counties.
"I've always had a love for the outdoors - family outings, including camping, hiking and bicycling adventures," Kohn said. "My passion is backcountry skiing on Mt. Shasta."
